Dave, I’m sorry to say, but I don’t see this toy being a success towards consumers, at least in the form of how it is now. Individuality is an important feature that people are always willing to throw money towards in order to achieve it. This is where I see your product developing desirability. If your toy was a feature that the latest ipod had, or cell phone ore even those big headphones that wrap around your head, and the messaging aspect was digital suppose to handwritten, then I can see people actually developing an interest in this. I can see people going to work with their ipods with your toy attached with funny messages, jokes, political points of views, and destroying the dismal stigma that is rush hour by making people laugh, even starting conversations. I’m not sure what to call the genera of people who would buy this product, so I’ll call them ‘the ipod people’ ( people who go out of there way to gain the latest gadgets in technology; they usually have more than one ipod). If you can market towards this group, and make a couple of changes in the appearance of the prototype, I can truly see people wanting to have one to give accompany their ipods , blackberries and other mp3s

Great idea, this seems kind of fun but more functional though. Personalizng the messages is fun but thats all you do though. I like the idea
